Part of Hearst's group, Harper's BAZAAR is a sophisticated, elegant and provocative style resource for women of every age. With authority and insider insight, the publication showcases the work of visionary stylists, expressive photographers, and talented designers, covering what's new to what's next.
What & Why?
Harper's BAZAAR traditionally ran live events but due to COVID, approached us to see how we can help them offer a digital live-streaming experience.
Bazaar At Work Week
Harper’s Bazaar has always championed the cause of the career woman.
Since the foundation of Bazaar At Work programme in 2013, Bazaar has sought to empower and inform their readers with the most exciting developments in the world of work, through a combination of thought-provoking print and online content, and in-demand speaker events.
In November 2020, we created a website to host Bazaar At Work Week in partnership with UBS and Porche – a four-day series of digital talks, panel discussions and interactive Q&A sessions featuring high-profile women from sectors including business, technology and the arts.
The website contained information about event, sponsors and publication, whilst enabling ticket holders a chance to watch the live streamed events and interact via live chat for the Q&A sessions.
Neel from Nutbot has helped us to navigate the world of premium virtual events, not only through creating beautiful websites but also through sharing his expertise and knowledge. Neel is so professional to work with, always meeting our right internal deadlines and frequently offering his opinions and solutions to better the end product, but never imposing them. Neel has been such a joy to work with and as a team we hope to work with him again in the future!

International Woman's Day 2021: An Evening with Harper's Bazaar
Harper's Bazaar's annual IWD event is one of the most anticipated dates in their calendar.
This year, due to COVID restrictions, it was made available from home, thanks to the help of their partners YPO, Veuve Clicquot and Clé de Peau Beauté.
Hosted by Bazaar’s editor-in-chief Lydia Slater, ‘An evening with Harper’s Bazaar’ will bring wit and wisdom from the model, entrepreneur and activist Iman; an insight into the awe-inspiring world of Dior with the fashion house’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri; and empowering words from the head of UN’s HeForShe movement Elizabeth Nyamayaro. In addition, there are guest appearances from some very special friends of Bazaar, who will be sharing the secrets to their success.
The website follows a similar format to others created for Hearst – containing information about event, the sponsors and Harper’s Bazaar, as well as the core functionality providing users access to watch the live-streamed event and interact via live chat for the Q&A session. Apologies, as this event is ticketed, screenshots and links will not be shared until a later date.
